Coralie Metcalfe is an organizing expert in your community, specializing in downsizing seniors and empty nesters who have too many things! Downsizing is a unique pivot in everyone’s life that comes with many emotions! We spend our lives stepping ‘up’ so this new direction can leave people in a lot of distress, quite reasonably.
You may be hesitant to think about your own downsizing because you don’t know where to start after many years living in the same home. It’s human to acquire many things. It’s also natural to feel overwhelmed every time you try to get rid of things.
Coralie is a trusted referral for sorting, organizing, donating, trash removal, packing, preparing your home for the stager, and coaching you through the process. For 20 years Coralie has worked in the senior, disability and mental health space, both privately and in social services. She is experienced in supporting difficult or resistant transitions and hoarders. And she is experienced with the challenges presented by people with mental health issues. Coralie understands the complexities which are unique to you and she is trauma and grief-informed to provide support through your process, if needed.
Coralie is not part of a team and provides the services herself and she provides personalized care tailored to each client. She splits her time helping to prepare properties for staging and listing and also working with private clients in their homes to address their clutter goals and downsizing challenges when transitioning into a new environment and/or lifestyle. Coralie benefits from 20 years of vulnerable sector police clearances in the City of Toronto.
